/ The Iraqi Taekwondo Clubs Championship for advanced players of both genders concluded on Monday in the Sulaymaniyah Club Hall, with the participation of 330 players representing 51 clubs from various Iraqi governorates.
The Police Club team dominated the men’s competition, as its players won the first places, leaving the Police Club with the first place among teams, leaving the second place to its counterpart, the Baghdad Municipality, while the Communications Club came in third place.
In the women’s category, the North Gas Club team came in first, Brusk in second, and Jamjamal in third.
The championship is the conclusion of the Federation’s programme for the year 2023, which witnessed the organisation of several championships for different categories, from which the Iraqi teams were formed, in preparation for external participation.
