The administrative body of the Police Club received, this Sunday afternoon, a delegation from the Saudi Al-Nasr Club at Baghdad International Airport.
A statement by the Police Club received by the (INA) stated that “the Police Club administration was keen to have a grand and grand reception and to welcome the guest delegation as an expression of the strength of the sports relations between the two clubs and the depth of the ties between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.”
The statement added, “The reception comes within the framework of preparations for the anticipated confrontation between the two teams in the AFC Champions League.”
Tomorrow, Monday, at 7:00 pm, the International City Stadium in Baghdad will host the anticipated match between Al-Shorta Club and Al-Nasr Saudi Club, amid great anticipation from Arab and Asian fans.
