Man Found with Gunshot Wound in Helsingborg
The Helsingborg police were alerted on Friday evening about a man who arrived at the emergency room with a gunshot wound. The incident occurred shortly after 11pm.
According to Andreas Hulting, the officer on duty at the police, the man claimed to have been shot by masked men in a forest in the Olympic area. The injury was believed to be a gunshot to the buttock.
The location of the injury raised concerns about the seriousness of the incident. With no crime scene discovered yet, Hulting stated, “We have carried out all investigative measures that we can with weapon dogs and so on, but have not progressed.”
The police are treating the case as a potentially dangerous situation due to the circumstances surrounding the shooting. They are actively searching for the alleged crime scene and gathering any available evidence to identify the perpetrators.
