Shooting incident in Linköping leaves man seriously injured
A shooting incident in the Mjärdevi area of Linköping has left a man in his 20s seriously injured and hospitalized for further treatment. The call came in at 10.20pm on Saturday evening, prompting the police to rush to the scene where they found the injured man.
The police have cordoned off the area and are conducting a technical investigation as well as other measures as part of a preliminary investigation into attempted murder. No one is currently in custody in connection with the incident.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything in the area around the time of the incident to come forward with information. Urgent information can be reported to the police at 112, while other information can be reported via the police contact center at 114 14.
