In connection with the Coimbatore car blast accident, the police conducted an investigation in Melapalayam and Ervadi areas of Tirunelveli district on Thursday.

In this case, Hussain Manbai, who lives in Melapalayam AK Garden area, was interrogated for 3 hours on Thursday by a team led by Police Inspectors Ravindran and Jameson Jebaraj. Hussain Manbhai, who works as an Umrah-Hajj travel organizer in Melapalayam and a catering business, has worked as a priest in Coimbatore.
Similarly, 3 inspectors including Erwadi police inspector Adam Ali interrogated Abdul Qader Manbai (30), son of Muhammad Ghani, the state secretary of the Islamic Propaganda Council and the speaker of the Humanist People’s Party, who lives in Airwadi Command Street.
The police said that no material or document was seized during the investigation conducted at these two places.
