Financial Markets Chamber in Stockholm Seeking Police Officers to Investigate Insider Crimes

The Financial Markets Chamber in Stockholm is currently looking for experienced police officers to investigate insider crimes and other crimes related to the stock exchange. The chamber, located in Stockholm, is part of the Ecocrime Agency and officers will be employed by the National Operations Department (NOA).

The role will involve working on criminal investigations related to insider trading and other financial market crimes, including unauthorized disclosure of insider information, fraud, and market manipulation. Officers will be responsible for acquiring, analyzing, and compiling investigative material, as well as conducting interviews with suspects and witnesses and participating in raids with the enforcement of coercive measures.

Applicants are required to have a police degree and at least a couple of years of experience in independent work in criminal investigation. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English are also essential, along with proficiency in the Office package, especially Excel.

Experience in securities trading, digital evidence gathering, and interrogation will be considered a merit, as well as a strong ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing environments.
