Police opened a criminal case after attacking a man with a child in New Moscow

The police opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism) after an attack by four unknown persons on a man with a child in New Moscow, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow reported.

“During the monitoring of Internet resources, the staff of the Moscow police revealed a video recording of a conflict between several men on the territory of the Novye Vatutinki microdistrict in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative district of Moscow. The investigative part of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism), ”the message says.

Earlier, the TFR in Moscow began a pre-investigation check of the incident. According to media reports, several people attacked and beat a man walking down the street with a small child. Investigators review surveillance footage and identify those involved in the incident.

“RIA Novosti” reported with reference to the MIA General Administration for Moscow that the father of the child was found, police officers are now questioning him in order to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
