“Police Operation Underway in Barrsätra Area Following Reports of Gunshot”
A police operation is currently underway in the Barrsätra area following reports of a gunshot around 6:30 pm, according to local news outlet Gefle Dagblad. Pelle Vamstad, a press spokesperson for the police, confirmed the ongoing investigation and stated that there are suspicions that a serious crime has been committed.
“We have a police operation at the scene and there are suspicions that a serious crime has been committed,” said Vamstad.
Vamstad also mentioned that a large area has been cordoned off and numerous police officers are present at the scene. Witnesses are being interviewed and a technical investigation is being conducted to gather more information.
“I cannot tell you any details at the moment, but we have a large area that is cordoned off and several police officers are on site. We hear witnesses and will knock on doors and do a technical investigation at the scene,” Vamstad added.
