This group belongs to the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) and is made up of personnel who are fluent in English and sign language, which allows them to serve foreign tourists and deaf-mutes; They also have information about the history and geography of the entity.
Those who make up the Tourist Police also carry out security and crime prevention tasks, since they have knowledge of first aid and first emergency response protocols.
The elements of this police unit are located in the eight Safe Zones that the SSPE implemented in the fair area; In addition, they make permanent tours throughout the FNSM area.
