Andrés Velasco, chief of the Buena Fe district of the National Police, explained that the emergency started when citizens alerted the attempted aggression of the man with bladed weapons against the humanity of another person.
“When the agents try to help the victim, this man rushes at the agents and throws one of his knives at the agents trying to attack them,” he says.
It was explained that the suspect, at the time of his arrest, had three bladed weapons in his possession. In addition, he records four previous arrests, two for possession of unauthorized weapons and two for drug trafficking.
