As part of this growth, the border police’s investigation unit is looking to expand its team. The unit, located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, provides support for the entire Stockholm region and is responsible for daily contact with criminal investigators, IG staff, and the Migration Agency in matters related to foreigners.

The job entails conducting investigation work and handling administrative cases according to immigration laws, EU regulations, the Code of Procedure, and more. Additionally, the position involves regular contact with the Swedish Migration Agency, the Correctional Service, and courts. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as the transport of detainees, workplace inspections, house searches, and border control.

Applicants for the position should have a police degree, academic education, or relevant work experience. Proficiency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is essential, as well as good computer skills and a B driver’s license.
