The District Superintendent of Police has ordered the dismissal of a police officer following a complaint that he had been forcibly sexually abused by the police who found the missing woman.

A worker from Tenkasi lives with his family in the Gunnathur area of ​​Tirupur district and works for the Banyan Company. While his wife was also working in a private company in the same area, her husband had lodged a complaint with the Gunnathur police station that the woman who had gone to work a few days ago had not returned.

A subsequent police investigation revealed that the woman had run away with him after having an affair with a young man who worked for the same company. Gunnathur police officer Muthuppandi, who was investigating the incident, contacted the woman on her cell phone. Then the whereabouts of the woman were revealed.

Following this, Muthupandi went to the place where the woman was and brought her back to hand over to her husband. However, the woman told police that she was not handed over to her husband and was taken to Tirupur where she was forcibly sexually abused.

The shocked police informed the higher authorities. District Superintendent of Police Sasang Sai has inquired into the matter and has ordered the dismissal of Edu Muthupandi. Police are conducting a serious investigation into the incident.
