Police represent Iraq in Arab Judo Championship in Egypt

/ The Iraqi Police Club Judo team left on Monday for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the Arab Police Union Championship.

The head of the Iraqi Judo Federation, Samir Al-Moussawi, told Agency, “The Iraqi police will represent Iraq in the Arab Championship scheduled to start the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in Egypt, with wide participation from the Arab Police Union.”

He added, “The Iraqi Police team includes the best players who are considered among the elite, and we expect that the team will achieve good results,” noting that “the team prepared well for the tournament in Baghdad and received support before participating in the tournament.”

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Abbas Al-Furaiji won the silver medal in the under 81 kg weight category in the Arab Judo Championship held in Egypt in the New Alamein City last year.
