Patrícia Oliveira, 32, who had disappeared last Sunday night, the 26th, was found this Monday afternoon, the 27th, at her former partner’s house in Goianira, 40km from the capital. The victim’s mother, Marineide Oliveira, had gone to the Mozarlândia Civil Police Station to file a report. The victim was rescued in the Goianira region.

The woman left the house and was not seen again. In search of information, the family itself searched for Araguapaz and shared the disappearance on social networks in search of news. Relatives already suspected the man’s involvement in the disappearance.

Dissatisfied with the end of the relationship, the suspect threatened the victim. Afraid, the woman moved to her mother’s house, fearing for her life and physical integrity. The victim was married to the man for 19 years and had two children.

According to Lieutenant Arantes of the Military Police, the former companion created a fake profile on a relationship app and impersonated someone else to be able to talk to the victim. With that, the man arranged a meeting and kidnapped the ex-partner, who was taken to the man’s house, where she was kept in private prison. The woman was threatened and assaulted.

The suspect was arrested red handed by the Military Police and is at the Goianira Police Station. He must answer for kidnapping, false imprisonment and bodily injury.
