Four cars with British license plates have delivered a forbidden race on the A3 in Hesse. The police confiscated three cars and are looking for the fourth car.
DThe drivers of four British-registered cars engaged in a banned car race on the A3. According to the police, they were informed early on Saturday afternoon that four cars were driving side by side in all three lanes between Bad Camberg and the Wiesbaden motorway junction, suddenly braking, and then shortly thereafter accelerating as in a race. The vehicles are also said to have coerced other road users and overtaken them illegally.
According to their own statements, a patrol from the motorway police was able to stop and check three of the four reported vehicles. The public prosecutor then ordered the seizure of the three stopped vehicles, as well as the driving licenses and mobile phones of the two British drivers and one Canadian driver.
There is no information about the fourth vehicle. The police are investigating.
