Villupuram: Two policemen have been ‘suspended’ for taking money from motorists at the liquor check post.
Attu Thomas Murugan and First Class Police Officer Arun were working at the Villupuram Prohibition Checkpost. Both of them were accused of extorting money from motorists. S.B. conducted the investigation. Villupuram SP, Srinatha has suspended both Thomas Murugan and Arun as it has been proved that money was taken.
