The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City reported that it was suspended from office the general coordinator of the Police Universitypointed out by hit with a tolete to a cadet of the generation 291 group 5.
In a statement, it was reported that personnel from the General Directorate of Internal Affairs in coordination with the Specialized Gender Unit attended to the complaint of a cadet who said she had been beaten by the General Coordinator of the University, therefore, an administrative investigation file was opened.

This Thursday, cadets from the Mexico City Police University closed the intersection of Cedros and Desierto de los Leones streets, in protest of the alleged assault with a baton by the general coordinator of the University, to one of the cadets.
In addition, the Specialized Gender Unit opened a file and immediately offered comprehensive legal support to the corresponding authorities. In the meantime, the public servant in question was suspended from his position.

The Secretariat of Citizen Security reported that it will not tolerate any type of violence, and that all cases involving police officers and cadets will be handled through the relevant SSC agencies.
