Surveillance cameras help the police a lot to prove any kind of crime. But they also need to make sure that people’s privacy is not violated.
Therefore, those who have installed the cameras need to make sure that the footage is not published anywhere. Those who publish CCTV footage on social media and elsewhere are also liable to suffer its legal consequences. She said such things would create fear among the public, which would destabilize security and thereby adversely affect police operations.
