MaMajor Ravi congratulated the police officer who saluted the national flag which was found abandoned in the heap. Major Ravi personally met a policeman named Amal of Tripunithura Hill Palace Police Station and congratulated him. Major Ravi said that Amal is a role model for today’s youth. The national flag was found in a garbage dump on Irumpanam Kadtakadavu road.

Today I was surprised by a policeman. We have all seen our national flag thrown away in a dustbin in the news. The first thing Amal, a policeman at Tripunithura Hill Palace Police Station at Atukanda, did was to give a salute to the flag and put all the flags together and put them inside the car. I came to see him after seeing the news in the newspaper. Every one of you young people should do something like this. I am saluting him for all of you. This should be a lesson to each of you. Every young person should watch and learn from this.
