MaMajor Ravi congratulated the police officer who saluted the national flag which was found abandoned in the heap. Major Ravi personally met a policeman named Amal of Tripunithura Hill Palace Police Station and congratulated him. Major Ravi said that Amal is a role model for today’s youth. The national flag was found in a garbage dump on Irumpanam Kadtakadavu road.

Major Ravi’s words

Today I was surprised by a policeman. We have all seen our national flag thrown away in a dustbin in the news. The first thing Amal, a policeman at Tripunithura Hill Palace Police Station at Atukanda, did was to give a salute to the flag and put all the flags together and put them inside the car. I came to see him after seeing the news in the newspaper. Every one of you young people should do something like this. I am saluting him for all of you. This should be a lesson to each of you. Every young person should watch and learn from this.

Amal arrived there with a team investigating the case of finding the national flag lying in the dustbin. The first thing he did when he got there was to look at the flag and salute. “This is my national flag and I will not allow it to be insulted anymore,” he said. After that he collected them all and put them in the jeep. I have a lot of love for the policeman named Amal. My flag is my pride. You have children only if you have this soil. Only you can save this soil and for that first thing is to be a patriotic citizen. No matter which political party you belong to. Patriotism should come first.
