Polio Drop Camp

Under the Intensive Polio Eradication Program of the Government of Tamil Nadu, a single installment of polio drops was provided to children under the age of 5 years in Thiruvarur district in collaboration with all government departments and voluntary organizations. To this end, a total of 870 polio vaccination centers have been set up in 800 specialized centers in rural areas and 70 specialized centers in urban areas across the district and 1 lakh 14 thousand 984 children are being vaccinated against polio. 3,598 employees were involved in this work.
