Tonight (Tuesday), the Ministry of Health publishes a summary of the daily update regarding the vaccination campaign against the polio virus (polio), in Jerusalem and its surroundings.
According to the data, since the beginning of the operation we have vaccinated a total of 10,503 children, today until 14:00 we vaccinated 485 children, the vaccines were given by milk drop stations of the Ministry of Health, the Jerusalem Municipality and some by Leumit.
So far, one child has been found with children with a positive sample and symptoms, another child has been found with children with a positive sample without symptoms and two children have been found with a suspicious sample – a sample by initial examination and a final culture has not yet been obtained.
The Ministry of Health said: “The Ministry of Health reiterates its call on parents to ensure that their children are vaccinated according to the Ministry of Health’s vaccination routine and to vaccinate the children who have not yet been vaccinated as soon as possible.
