Polish farmers spent the night at the Polish Ministry of Agriculture, protesting farmers are waiting for the country’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk. As Day.Az reports, this was reported by the local radio station RMF FM.
“The conclusions after the night are the same as after the last day. We are waiting for the prime minister. Nothing has been decided, nothing has been agreed upon,” Tomasz Obszanski, head of the individual farmers’ trade union Solidarity, told the radio station.
Obszanski also said that, in his opinion, the head of the Polish government is “reluctant to accept people” who make their living from agriculture. “We perceive this as a blow to farmers, a blow to the entire agricultural sector, which has huge problems, and the government is doing absolutely nothing about it,” he added.
It is noted that 12 people “spent the night” in the building of the Ministry of Agriculture. Negotiations between Polish farmers and Deputy Minister Michal Kolodziejczak continued until late at night, but, as the radio reports, did not bring the expected results.
