Doha: Polish referee Simon Marciniak will control the final match between Argentina and France in the World Cup. With this, Marciniak will be the first Polish referee to manage the World Cup. Assistant referees are Pavel Sokolnicki and Thomas Liskiewicz. The fourth referee is Ismail Elfat of USA. Poland’s own Thomas Kwiatkowski is in charge of war.

Simon Marciniak has been one of the best referees in the tournament so far. Simon officiated the France-Denmark match in the group stage and the Argentina-Australia pre-quarter match. He is the referee who has never given a red card or penalty in the World Cup. But he had taken out five yellow cards in two games.

Earlier, in many matches in the knockout stage, there were big allegations against the referees. The Argentine players criticized the Spanish referee Antonio Matiau Lahoz who controlled the Argentina-Netherlands match. The referee took out 18 cards in the match.

After losing in the semi-finals against France, Morocco has come forward with a complaint to FIFA against referee Cesar Ramos, who controlled the match. Complaints were raised against the referees in the Argentina-Croatia match and the Portugal-Morocco match.
