Among the main detractors are the law students of the UNAM, who united against the constitutional change that seeks to have judges, magistrates and ministers elected by popular vote instead of holding the judicial career.

Also the federal deputy of National Action, Margarita Zavala, He sent a message to his fellow legislators: “We really ask you to vote against a reform that is absolutely harmful, this is not a matter of political parties, in reality more than a reform, it is revenge.”
