Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are two superstars in Indian cinema, not just in Tamil cinema. The two filled the silver screen with different styles but there was no lack of friendship. Kamal Haasan’s words about their friendship are in the news.
Kamal said that politics and friendship are different and that he was a close friend of superstar Rajinikanth. Personally competitive but personally close. Kamal Haasan said that although Rajinikanth was not able to attend the trailer launch, he was called to say congratulations and explain why he did not attend the event.
At the audio launch, Kamal spoke about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and his son, actor and producer Udayanidhi Stalin. Udayanidhi has a simple personality. He maintains close friendship with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and his Udayanidhi Stalin. Despite political differences, friendship is not a barrier.
Kamal Haasan said that Udayanidhi was his fan and asked him to act in at least one film a year. Kamal had campaigned extensively against Udayanidhi Stalin and the DMK in the 2021 Assembly elections. Kamal Haasan’s new film Vikram is being distributed in Tamil Nadu by Udayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies.
