The first goal of New Democracy and Antonis Samaras was to reduce the counter of the party’s difference from PASOK to zero. Nineteen months after the biggest defeat in the history of N.D. this goal was achieved. The measurements published yesterday by two companies confirm the great success of Antonis Samaras, who is also ahead of George Papandreou on a personal level.
The second goal is for New Democracy to come out on top in the next polls. The qualitative characteristics of the measurements show that this is already underway. The third step will be for the New Democracy to gather percentages that will give it self-reliance, which will confirm the great upheaval and signal a restart at all levels. At Syngrou, they believe that if a few days after the announcement of Zappius II, the citizens do the overthrow, then as the New Democracy’s positions for exiting the crisis progress and are communicated, the overthrow of the political scene will grow in favor of the Center-Right.
According to the MRB poll in “Real News”, PASOK and ND tie vote

According to the MRB poll, N.D. and PASOK are at 21.5% (from 20.6% which was ND in April and 22.4% PASOK), KKE is at 8.1%, LAOS at 6.0%, SYRIZA at 3.2%, the Democratic Left at 2.3% and the Democratic Alliance at 2.0%.
The most popular political leader now is the president of the ND. with 24.9% positive opinions, leaving G. Papandreou second with 24.5%.
In Rass’s “Present” poll – conducted from May 17 to 20 – the difference has fallen to 0.9% compared to 2.7% a month and a half ago.
The same poll records an impressive rise in the percentages of Antonis Samaras, who precedes Giorgos Papandreou in the balance of popularity, while citizens consider him more realistic than the prime minister.
Also 62% believe that the government does not want consent but complicity, and only 32.8% believe that PASOK’s intentions are sincere.
