AGI – The management of the Pompeii Archaeological Park has intervened to deny rumors that have been circulating for days about Madonna planning to celebrate her 66th birthday in Pompeii. “Regarding the rumors circulating in the press these days about a mega-party of an international celebrity with 500 guests in the ruins of Pompeii, as well as a supposed fee of 30,000 euros for the Teatro Grande,” a statement clarifies that these are “groundless news.”
According to what AGI learned, the news was not entirely unfounded and there has been, or at least there would have been, communication in this regard. Many leaks in the media over the past few days are baseless, qualified sources emphasize, and if the location for the eagerly anticipated party on August 16 is confirmed, information will be provided by the institutions that protect the most famous archaeological site in the world.
Madonna is already in Italy, not for the first time being a destination for her vacations, and she is also expected, according to rumors, in Capri, where the queen of pop feels at home. The blue island is also suggested as a possible setting for her birthday. The most persistent rumors relate to a ‘special’ guided tour of the ruins, and a reservation for an event at the Teatro Grande of Pompeii on the fateful date; but there are also whispers about renting a fabulous villa in Positano. The ‘mystery’ surrounding the location of the party should be resolved in the near future.
