Lyca has officially announced the audio release date of Ponni’s Selvan 2 on its social media.
‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is the dream film of director Mani Ratnam. While many stalwarts tried to film Ponni’s Selvan novel written in Kalki’s handwriting, due to various problems, no one could easily make this epic into a film.
In this case, director Mani Ratnam overcame various challenges in the production of Laika and ended up directing the film in two parts. The first part of this film released on 30th September. Released as a Pan India film in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, the film received a good reception among the fans. And while director Mani Ratnam spent a budget of 500 crores to direct the two parts of the film, the first part alone earned this 500 crores.

In this case, the movie ‘Ponniin Selvan 2’ will be released on April 28 next month. Although the first part had a few flaws, Mani Ratnam directed the film beautifully. And how will he direct the second part? Many are curious to know.

Composed by AR Raghuman, all the songs featured in the first part of Ponni’s Selvan have been well received by the fans. Similarly, the recently released song ‘Aka Naga’ from the film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ set a record of five million views in a single day.
