Director Mani Ratnam has filmed Ponni’s Selvan story, a famous historical novel written by author Kalki.
Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Jayaram, Rahman, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Ashwin, Kishore and many others have acted. Mani Ratnam and Kumaravel have written the screenplay of the film. Lyrics – Jayamohan, Music – A.R. Rahman, Cinematography – Ravi Varman, Art – Thota Dharani. Ponni’s Selvan will release on September 30.
The teaser of Ponni’s Selvan was held in Chennai. Mani Ratnam, A.R. Rahman, Jayamohan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Sarath Kumar, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lakshmi and many other members of the film crew also attended the event.
