The movie ‘Ponniin Selvan’ directed by Mani Ratnam, which was eagerly awaited not only in Tamil cinema but also in the Indian cinema world, was announced to be released on September 30, but the teaser of Ponniin Selvan was released on Friday evening.
Based on the novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ written by writer Kalki Krishnamurthy, the movie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ directed by Mani Ratnam is being prepared in two parts. Not only the Tamil cinema industry but the entire Indian cinema world is waiting for the release of this movie which is being prepared at a huge cost.
The novel ‘Ponniin Selvan’ was written in 5 parts. The novel is a historical fiction of Rajaraja Chola, an emperor of the later Chola Empire. Ponni’s Selvan is jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Subhashkaran’s Lyca. Famous writer Jayamohan has written screenplay and dialogue for Ponni’s Selvan.
Ponni’s Selvan stars actors Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Partheepan and Sarathkumar. The first part of Ponni’s Selvan is all set to hit the theaters on September 30. The film is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Karthi, who played the role of Vandiyathevan in Ponni’s Selvan, started the show with Goosebump and said, “What am I saying about this film… Jayamohan has talked about it.
