Ponytail Ban | Boys will be sexually aroused; ‘Ponytail’ banned in Japanese schools |

by time news
Japanese schools have reportedly banned girls from tying their hair into ponytails. The ban stipulates that girls can see the back of their necks when their hair is tied in a ponytail, which can cause boys to be sexually aroused.

The international media reported that some schools were reluctant to impose the ban amid widespread protests against the new reforms in the country.

However, this is not the first time in Japan that such bizarre bans have been imposed. Earlier, the law had made it mandatory for students to wear only white underwear. But this led to much criticism and had to be withdrawn.

Such strange laws, which are beyond the reach of common sense, are enforced unilaterally. Teachers also say that it is common in Japan to impose these rules on students and that students are forced to accept them. There are complaints that most schools in the country follow special standards in terms of student skirt length, eyebrow shape, underwear, socks and hair color.

According to the report, many schools have even implemented a routine of inspecting students’ underwear by specially assigned staff when changing clothes for sports training and school swimming training. There have been strong protests in recent times against these laws, which are in effect in schools and other educational institutions.
