Poparazzi, a mobile application for publishing photos, was released on May 24 and immediately hit the first line of free applications in the American App Store. The application allows you to create your own profile from photos taken by other people. Currently, only the iOS version is available.
Poparazzi was launched with the idea of a “healthy atmosphere”. The application lacks the ability to edit photos before publishing, you cannot write comments and put hashtags, it is impossible to switch to the front camera. Photos of other people can be removed from your account if desired. You can close the profile, and then only approved users will be able to tag the person in their photos. You cannot see the number of each other’s followers, but you can see how many photos there are people.
The application gained popularity thanks to an aggressive advertising campaign on TikTok, some videos collected 1 million views. At the time of launch, the application already had over 500 thousand preinstallation requests.
