Rome: Pope Francis rejected rumors that he may retire in the coming days. The Pope said that he is planning to visit Canada and after that he wants to go to Moscow and Kiev. The Pope also denied the propaganda that he was seriously ill.
Clarifying the position in an interview given to Reuters, when events such as the meeting of cardinals to discuss the new Vatican constitution and the coronation of new cardinals are to be held next August. The Pope also announced a visit to the city of Laquila in Italy. Previously, Pope Benedict XVI visited Laquila four years before his retirement. It is the first time in 600 years that a Pope has visited the place.
