Vatican City: Pope Francis traveled to Canada to apologize for the discovery of mass graves of children near schools run by the Catholic Church in Canada’s British Columbia province.
He said it was a penitential pilgrimage to beg forgiveness on Canadian soil for the evils done to the indigenous people by Catholic missionaries. Visitation is a week from Sunday.
