Kottayam: (www.kvartha.com 14.04.2022) Famous producer Joseph Abraham (74) has passed away. He had been undergoing treatment for cancer for a long time. He was staying at a residence near Kottayam Guest House. Close relatives said the funeral will be on Saturday.
He was the producer of popular films like Olangal, Yathra, Umakkuyil, Koodanayum Kaat. Olangal is a 1982 Malayalam film directed by Balu Mahendra and directed by Eric Saigal.
Yathra is a 1985 film directed by Balu Mahendra and starring Mammootty and Shobhana in the lead roles. The story and dialogue were written by John Paul. The theme of the trip is the story of the human rights abuses committed by the police and prison authorities during the Emergency. Unnikrishnan (Mammootty) tells the story of his release from jail with his fellow passengers on the school bus.
