Thiruvananthapuram> Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the popular front hartal was a state-wide attack. It is planned and executed violence. In many places, masked attacks took place. Such actions are totally unacceptable. The Chief Minister said that the police have taken effective action against the hartal.
This type of violence cannot be tolerated in any way. Strict action will be taken against the culprits. He added that the assailants are yet to be found and no one will be allowed to escape. He was speaking after inaugurating the State Conference of Kerala Police Senior Officers Association.
Communal forces must be isolated without compromise. The situation in our country is not like that of other states. There is no difference between communal forces here and communal forces outside Kerala. But the chief minister said that the special thing is that the police can do things in a good way.
