Bus Crash Near Sesto al Reghena Injures Twelve Students, One Airlifted to Hospital
A bus carrying fourteen-year-old students was involved in a collision with a car near Sesto al Reghena, in the province of Pordenone, Italy, on November 18, 2025, resulting in injuries to twelve students and both drivers. One student was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.
The accident occurred this afternoon near the Holy Camp of Sesto al Reghena, impacting students from an institute in Motta di Livenza, located in the Treviso area. Following the impact, the bus veered off the road and came to rest on the embankment of a ditch.
Swift Rescue Operation
According to initial reports, first responders quickly extracted all the schoolchildren from the vehicle. Health workers and firefighters worked efficiently to provide immediate assistance. A student, suffering from what appeared to be a chest crushing injury, was immediately transported via Suem helicopter to the hospital. Officials confirmed the student remained conscious throughout the flight.
The two drivers involved were also transported to hospitals – one to Pordenone and the other to San Vito al Tagliamento – but their conditions were not life-threatening. The remaining twelve students were evaluated by medical teams on-site and categorized as “code green,” indicating minor injuries.
Road Closure and Investigation
The stretch of road where the collision took place was temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate the safe removal of the vehicles and allow for a thorough investigation. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the cause of the accident.
