Porsche has just introduced the 2024 lineup of its most successful SUV, the Cayenne. And the crossover that saved the German brand from bankruptcy gains important news in all its versions. Brazilians can now order the 2024 Cayenne with prices starting at R$810,000. The brand promises to make deliveries later this year.
But what has changed?
Visibly the changes were small even though Porsche says it has invested equivalent time and resources into developing a new generation. At the front, the Cayenne gains new, redesigned and reduced headlights. Now all versions gain the Matrix LED while the Matrix HD headlight becomes an option. The highlighted grille below the hood with three air intakes and two fillets remains unchanged. At the rear, there is a new cutout of the trunk lid, giving it an even more sporty style, while the lower portion changes according to the version.
Inside, there are more innovations in the fully digital panel and high-resolution screens, including the passenger one. The inspiration is clear and lies in the electric Taycan with a new arrangement of elements, a new gearshift lever and greater connectivity of the entertainment, navigation and driving assistance systems.
Unlike the Macan, which uses four-cylinder engines, the Cayenne is definitely a sports crossover. The entry-level version with a V8 engine gained 13hp of power with electronic changes to develop 358hp and 50.9 kgfm of torque. Already the S version gives up the previous V6 to use a V8 with 480hp and 61kgfm of torque.

The hybrid model also had news. It now uses a battery with greater electric range and combines the 178hp V6 engine that gained 40hp with an electric motor that adds up to 477hp.
