Porsche involved in collision with pickup truck in Polanco; perpetrator flees the scene

According to initial reports, the luxury vehicle was apparently speeding and collided with the van, in which a family was travelling, causing it to overturn. The alleged perpetrator fled.

Following the crash, units from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City and paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, at the intersection of Homero Avenue and Anatole France Street.

At the scene, Red Cross paramedics treated two adults aged 50 and 46, as well as a 17-year-old teenager, all belonging to the family that was traveling in the van.

The three injured were diagnosed as having multiple contusions, which did not warrant their transfer to a hospital. They subsequently went to the corresponding public prosecutor to file a complaint.

For its part, the SSC is already analysing the area’s video surveillance cameras to identify the escape route of the possible suspect.
