This Tuesday morning, in Munich, Germany, the draw for the qualifying group stage for EuroBasket 2025 took place and Portugal learned who will have to face this goal of being present at the European Championship.
In this way, the draw dictated that the men’s national team will face, in qualifying, Slovenia, from Luka Doncic, Ukraine and Israel, staying in group A.
The qualifiers will be played in three windows, from February 19 to 27, 2024, from November 18 to 26, 2024 and from February 17 to 25, 2025, with two games played by each team in each window.
The top three teams from each group, except groups that include FIBA EuroBasket 2025 co-hosts Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia, qualify for the Finals. In groups containing the host nations, the host and the other two best placed teams qualify for EuroBasket 2025.
