Rinku’s house on Perumpatti soil in Erumeli Kanakapalam Srinipuram Colony is painted in the color of the Portuguese flag. The house was freshly painted on the first birthday of Rinku’s only daughter Arha under the auspices of the Kanakapalam Portugal Club. Portugal idol Cristiano Ronaldo’s number seven, as well as Portugal’s national emblem, are painted on the wall of the house. Anujan Abhijith, a die-hard Ronaldo fan, was the first to say that the house could be painted in the color of the Portuguese national flag. When Rinku, his wife Anjali and his mother Rosamma stood with Abhijit, their friends also joined them. Rinku is an autorickshaw worker. The painting was completed in three days.
