Contact Andre Martinez signed for Hapoel Beer Sheva. The Portuguese, who will celebrate his 32nd birthday next week, officially joins the runner-up in the Premier League after releasing his contract from Belgium and Poland Warsaw, signed a contract for a season and a half today (Thursday) and will now be Roni Levy’s sixth foreigner.

Hapoel Beer Sheva hopes that Martins, a midfield player who plays as a back midfielder and also in the 50-50 position and who is supposed to take the position intended for Davida Petrucci and Roi Gordana, who are unlikely to open, can help the team in next season’s game against Maccabi Haifa. Her first place from which she dropped following her first loss in the league, on Saturday in Bloomfield to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Martinez has previously made two appearances for the Portugal national team and was also part of the Salsa squad at the Olympic Games in Rio in the summer of 2016. He grew up in Sporting Lisbon and in his youth went out for a number of questions in the lower leagues in his homeland, until taking a permanent place in the squad. In 2016 he left after 14 years belonging to the club when he went on to Olympiacos and two years later joined the Polish Legia Warsaw, from where he came to the capital of the Negev. He won championships in Greece and Poland and Portugal lifted a trophy.
