Jayson Tatum stood out for the “Celtics” with 31 points and ten rebounds, Porzingis was the second leading scorer for the home team with 20 points, and Jalen Brown scored another 19 points.
Zack Lavin was the top scorer in the “Bulls” team with 36 points, Ajo Dosunma added 17 points, while Nikola Vucevic collected 16 points and 14 rebounds.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday in Chicago.
With 21 wins in 27 games, the Celtics are in second place in the Eastern Conference, while the Bulls are in ninth place with a 13-15 record.
