Now a draft government resolution is being developed, which will approve the order of such control, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported.
The requirement to organize the control of postal items and goods was established by Decree No. 297, which prohibited citizens from keeping and using drones. That is, the introduction of inspections was proposed to stop the supply of drones or components for their repair and assembly to individuals.
Marketplaces, whose representatives attended the meeting on this issue at the State Border Committee, will probably also have to check the goods sent to Belarusians. At it, representatives of the Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Transport, RUE “Belposhta” and business (we are talking about companies engaged in the delivery of goods to individuals) explained the approaches to conducting such control.
The decree “On state accounting and operation of civil unmanned aerial vehicles” was signed on September 25, 2023. It prohibits natural persons from importing, operating and manufacturing drones, and after six months from the moment of its publication – their storage.
