Baldur’s Gate 3 Intimate Scenes Could Get Xbox Players Banned
Players of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox be warned: recording intimate scenes with your chosen party member could result in a ban from Xbox Live. This warning comes after a Reddit user, u/Daddy-Vegas, shared their experience of being banned from Xbox Live for recording and uploading intimate scenes from the game.
The Reddit user shared that they had recorded three separate videos of a romantic encounter in the player character’s camp, intending to share them with the gaming community. However, after uploading the videos to the Xbox servers, each video was marked as an infraction, resulting in the user being suspended from Xbox Live for a total of 392 days.
An appeal has been sent to Xbox in hopes of overturning the suspension, but u/Daddy-Vegas is currently unable to play any game that requires a network connection.
Baldur’s Gate 3, which launched on Xbox on December 7, has garnered attention for its romantic relationship options and intimate scenes. However, it seems that Xbox Live may have strict guidelines when it comes to sharing this content.
The game, which was shadow dropped on Xbox at the end of the 2023 Game Awards, has received numerous awards since its release on PS5 and PC in August 2023. It was even named GameSpot’s 2023 Game Of The Year.
For now, Xbox players are being advised to be cautious when recording and sharing intimate scenes from Baldur’s Gate 3, as it could result in a ban from Xbox Live.
