jpnn.com – SIGI – Potential vulnerabilities in the matching and research (coklit) of voter data in the 2024 Pilkada in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi can be addressed immediately.

According to the Head of the General Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Sigi Regency, Hairil, this potential can even be handled sufficiently in the field.

“If we talk about potential vulnerabilities, there are indeed several things, but we and our staff are ensuring that these potentials are cleared and resolved in the field,” said Hairil, Thursday (11/7).

He stated that there is potential vulnerability during the verification stage, namely that there are people whose status has changed from being 17-year-old new voters but have become members of the TNI and Polri.

In addition, it was discovered that people on the Potential Voter List (DP4) had died and moved domicile.

Then, there was a change in the administrative system which caused a difference in the old and new family card numbers.

“That category certainly does not meet the requirements to be a voter,” he said.

The coklit process has now entered its third week since the matching and research period began on June 24 and ended on July 24, 2024.

Bawaslu stated that potential vulnerabilities in the verification of voter data for the 2024 Pilkada in Sigi could be addressed immediately.
