A magnitude 7.6 earthquake shakes the region of Maumere, Indonesia.
The quake, measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale, struck off the coast of Maumere, Indonesia. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said in a statement that the epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
The epicenter was reported below the sea floor in Flores, Indonesia.
