jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The fate of honorary teachers and education personnel (tendik) during the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) was considered better.

During SBY’s leadership, millions of honorary employees were appointed as civil servants without tests and without age limits.

The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia is also considered to be very concerned about the welfare of civil servants and honorary employees.

“It was better during SBY’s era, we were definitely appointed as civil servants, not contracted,” said the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council of the National Honorary Alliance (AHN) and the Indonesian Wiyatabakti National Solidarity (SNWI) of Riau Province, Eko Wibowo, to JPNN, Tuesday (10/9).

He regretted the policy of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas who made a rule that if PPPK wanted to become PNS, they had to take part in the 2024 CPNS selection.

According to Ekowi, Eko Wibowo’s nickname, with this regulation, Minister Anas makes it difficult for PPPK to become civil servants. The appointment should be based on performance reports.

“Now there is a report on ASN performance set by the government. Look at the qualified PPPK, then, they are promoted to PNS and without a test,” he said.

Currently, they only hope that President-elect Prabowo Subianto will be more pro-people and willing to improve the welfare of all Indonesian people.
