jpnn.comSURABAYA – Indonesian Presidential Candidate and Vice Presidential Candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka won the most votes in the 2024 Election in the East Java region.

Based on the final results of the open plenary meeting recapitulation of the 2024 Election votes by the East Java KPU in Surabaya, Monday at around 04.30 WIB, Prabowo-Gibran got 16,716,603 votes.

The Indonesian presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar won 4,492,652 votes. Meanwhile, the Indonesian presidential and vice presidential candidates number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, won 4,434,805 votes.

“Thank God, today we have finished reading the plenary recapitulation at the provincial level for each of the 38 districts/cities,” said East Java KPU Chairman Aang Kunaifi in Surabaya.

After the recapitulation stage at the provincial level was completed, the East Java KPU sent all documents to the Republic of Indonesia KPU.

“Especially for the presidential-vice presidential, DPR RI and DPD elections,” he said.

In East Java, the number of people included in the permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 Election is 31,402,838 people, with details of 15,495,556 men and 15,907,282 women.

Then, from the total number of DPT, there are 26,539,721 souls who exercise their right to vote on February 14, 2024.

The Indonesian presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2 in the 2024 presidential election, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, won the most votes in East Java.
