President Prabowo Inaugurates Revitalized Tanah Abang station, Connects with Jakarta Residents

A modernized Tanah Abang Baru Station officially opened its doors on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, as President Prabowo Subianto lead the inauguration ceremony and immediately engaged with commuters and local workers, signaling a commitment to accessible infrastructure and community welfare. The revitalization project aims to improve the transportation experience for Jakarta residents and bolster the cityS rail network.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking officials, including Coordinating minister for Infrastructure and Territorial Affairs agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwaghandi, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy indra Wijaya. “Can you eat (free nutritious food) at school?” Prabowo asked, to which the child responded, “Not yet, sir.”

Demonstrating a commitment to addressing social needs, Prabowo pledged to investigate the child’s school and ensure the program’s benefits are extended to them. “We’ll look for it later,” he stated, highlighting his dedication to improving childhood nutrition.

This gesture underscored the administration’s intention to include and value all segments of the population.
